We are just days away from the release of Madonna‘s new single Gimme All Your Luvin’, the first from her new album M.D.N.A., and to promote the release of her newest musical offering she has released a fun new promo video. The vid features footage of Madonna in the studio with producer Martin Solveig and singer/rapper M.I.A. recording the song Gimme All Your Luvin’ back in November of last year. As you can see below, Maddy and M.I.A. look like they had blast in the recording studio together. Check out the clip and see what you think.
OMG … so cute! I love when Madonna gets goofy. As you may recall, ABC News aired some studio footage on 20/20, making the claim that Madonna gave them “unprecedented access to her studio”. It looks to me that Madonna filmed the footage privately and under her control and just let ABC News use the footage before she decided to use it herself for this promo video. Irregardless of where it came from, I’m glad we get to see it at all. You will note that rapper Nicki Minaj is not seen at all in this video … presumably because her contribution to the track was likely recorded elsewhere. BUT, we are sure to see her in action with Maddy and M.I.A. when the video for Gimme All Your Luvin’ is released … soon. For now, let’s just enjoy this fun but short little clip of Luvin’ … until the song gets released next week.
