Whew! That was a close one. I woke up yesterday in NYC to the sight of a few snow flurries falling from the sky. As the morning unfolded, the snow got heavier and more forecful. Within moments, the term “snowtober” exploded on social media sites … and my fears grew that I might get stuck in NYC, in the snow. Luckily, my flight out to LA was not canceled … unlike flights to Denver, San Francisco and San Diego. We did have a 2 hour delay but … thankfully, I managed to escape the snow and make it home successfully to the warmer climes here in SoCal.

It’s no secret that I really hate the snow so … yeah, I was worried about a canceled flight. BUT before I could really worry about the cancelation, I was worried that I might not make it to the airport in time. The traffic was crawling the whole way, had it not been for the flight delay I prolly would’ve missed my flight. But, I made it … and we got out from under the snow storm. My flight was long but uneventful. I managed to catch up with eps of the new Showtime series Homeland (which I am LOVING) and get a bit of sleep. David picked me up and we grabbed a quick bite to eat with Josh and Emma:

The food really did me in … I was wrecked. As soon as we got home, I crashed out. Today is going to be a beautifully warm day here in LA so … Woot! I’m happy! I hope your Devil’s Night Day is a great one! Happy Sunday!!
